Receipting Money

Homeroom Teachers:  I realize there is a concern for how time-intensive it will be to write receipts during homeroom on the first couple of days.  Many students will probably bring money on Monday, since their parents had access to the writeable pdf forms on-line.  Here is a possible solution for writing receipts during homeroom.  You could accept cash/checks from students, make a list of their name and amount you received.  Then actually write the receipt later on during the day or even after school and present the receipt the following morning.

Welcome to a new school year!

I am excited to be beginning my 3rd year with you as principal at Huntsville Middle!  We have a great school, great kids and even greater teachers!  I appreciate each of you for what you bring to our school and always want to acknowledge what a wonderful job you do everyday for our students.

Obviously we have many changes on the horizon; and like most change, some things will not be easy or readily accepted.  I hope that if you have questions or concerns that you will come to me to discuss these things, rather than complaining to each other.  Often hearing constant negative comments is a burden to your colleagues.  Come to me...I will listen and we can discuss your concerns.

If you haven't already done so, make sure you subsribe to this blog by filling in your email address in the box to the right of this posting.  You will recieve an email link each time I update the blog.

Please remember to check the duty assignments for both morning and afternoon duty, and make sure that you are on time for duty.
